ArchiCAD Talk Depository | 1343400423Original Object: Stretchy Line Olivier Dentan Nov 2007 http://pagesperso-orange.fr/archilib.od/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Modified : Vistasp Mehta Date : 24.11.2008 AC Version : 10 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ History ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Date : 24.11.2008 1. slightly reduced distance of text from line. 2. changed scaling of text. 3. starting point is no longer stretchable; it made the line length inaccurate. 4. added select by hotline. I prefer that to a couple of hard-to-find hotspots. 5. added ability to write levels at start and end of pipeline. 6. added ability to calculate second point level based on given slope. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Date : 28.11.2008 1. Olivier Dentan pointed out one error each in the Master Script and Parameter Script. FIXED 2. He also pointed out that #3 above is not the case. Looks like I messed something up. The original object he submitted works perfectly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~2D drainage line

Hotspot Placement Tool
Eric Bobrow | 1354001448This simple object may be used to set the position of 3D hotspots for custom user-modeled objects. Simply place one or more of these 3D hotspot elements wherever you would like a snapping point. After placement, select them and change the line length to 0 to avoid seeing the short axis guide lines. Then select these 3D hotspots along with your other components and save as a new custom GDL object; the snap points will be embedded into the new object. On Point
|On Point table is designed by Mattias Stenberg, the designer behind the successful stool Carry On. With its soft and elegance appearance the table is great for meeting between people but can also be used, with plants and greenery, for seperate private conversations. On Point is a part of Offecct’s O2asis concept and its different center modules makes it possible to fit different sizes of plants into the table. The table is also available with power source which makes it perfect for all public places where electronic devices are used. “The On Point table is a further development of the ideas that originated from the Carry On stool. The series is based on the idea of the informal meeting in a workplace or a public space, for example an airport. With their very obvious handles, the stool provoke mobility and spontaneous meetings. The table is designed to allow full contact between up to eight people around it, while it’s also perfect for more private and intimate gatherings among a few individuals. It is part of Offecct’s O2asis-concept, with vegetation integrated into furniture pieces in order to improve wellbeing and air quality. The table can hold plants and trees of different dimensions, with rings of two sizes placed in the table’s centre. It’s also a way of creating a micro architecture in the room, with the tree’s natural ceiling that makes us feel pleasantly enwrapped and comforted.” /Mattias Stenberg

stool
Gorazd Rajh | 1374578076This stool made by the genius Niko Kralj is just one in a long line of such sophisticated and ingeniously designed products. Conceived way back in 1954, the stool remains a concept of elegance. It is distinguished by clean lines and a minimalistic appearance, which, however, does not mean that it is visually boring, but quite the opposite. Due to its cross type construction, which in a unique way connects the remaining elements of the stool, it appears that the upper part of the stool floats effortlessly above the legs. Perfectly connected wood from a technical point of view, aided with the help of only one screw, lends itself to creating a stable and comfortable stool.

Munich Stool
|Designed by Sauerbruch Hutton in 2012; - Modern art of the 20th and 21st centuries deserves an appropriate setting, with a building and its furniture that is just as modern. Berlin architects Sauerbruch Hutton were thus faced with an exciting challenge when asked to design the Museum Brandhorst in Munich. Three different seating solutions were developed for the museum that opened in 2009 – for the cafeteria, the foyer, the conference and lecture rooms as well as the lounge. ClassiCon developed the designs to the point of series production in close collaboration with the architects. The Munich Stool is the perfect addition to the furniture series by Sauerbruch Hutton. Combined with the Munich Lounge Chair, it invites the sitter to relax and put his feet up, but it can also be used on its own as extra seating. Frame of solid wood. Upholstery: Polyurethane with polyester fibre. Cover in fabric or leather.

Kit Sunfix aero duo
|The name kit Sunfix aero duo says it all. The high-performance SolarWorld solar modules Sunmodule Plus poly, mono, mono black and Sunmodule Protect poly are installed with the mounting system Sunfix aero duo without penetrating the roof membrane and forms a static interconnection that requires only minimal ballast. The aerodynamic, wind tunnel-tested system design ensures that the solar power system behaves like a Formula 1 racing car at high speeds: the frame literally clings to the roof surface. This reduces point and surface loads to a minimum. In the kit Sunfix aero duo modules are arranged in tent-shaped pairs allowing for maximum utilisation of the available roof area. This double design, which reduces shading between module rows, increases the roof’s yield. The modules should be mounted at an angle of 10 degrees, ideally with an east-west alignment, in order to maximise the yield in relation to the roof surface area.

Jin chair
|<p>”Many of my ideas are born when I make prototypes and I believe that you can only find new values in design by doing so and using your hands. While working on a paper model of a chair, I found myself arriving at a new structure which became the starting point for Jin”, says designer Jin Kuramoto.<br><br>Jin is available in three different designs; in flax-fibre composite, in carbon-fibre composite and upholstered with a frame in laminated wood.<br><br>The unique structure of Jin has ideally been realized by shaping thin layers of flax fibres on top of each other, forming a strong shell around a core of air, making the surface the actual structure of the chair.<br><br>Benefits & functions<br>- Can be upholstered in fabric.<br>- Is available feather light, super strong and 100% biological.</p>

Bergen
|The chair Bergen is designed by Hallgeir Homstvedt. Bergen was originally developed for a project to a university in Bergen, Norway. After further development the chair is now launched in our collection with its inspiring expression. In a certain light you can, by reading the shadow, imagine where Homstvedt found his inspiration - the beautiful windows of the university. “I designed this chair for the competition which I won for the furnishing of the newly renovated auditorium in the Bergen University, originally built in 1894. The imposing window valves in the room were important as inspiration. The shapes are reflected in the square back and the circular seat. The chair’s character lies in the meeting between these two surfaces, giving the impression of floating in the air, with only a small concealed point of attachment. This gives the chair a minimalistic and slender character, with good stacking capacity. The brief for the competition stated that the auditorium must hold four hundred seated audience members, but that it can quickly and swiftly be refurnished for a dinner for a hundred people.” / Hallgeir Homstvedt

TALO CUSHION 290.23
|The result of Sancal’s first collaboration with Sebastian Herkner, Talo takes a new approach to the traditional small armchair – a must-have for any hotel. Discreet and distinctive, the design is a departure from all others, yet retaining a familiar form. Talo is extraordinarily comfortable, making it the ideal piece for a range of settings. The small two seater sofa combines perfectly with the armchair, emulating its comfort perfectly. The roots of the mangrove tree have provided the starting point for this adaptable piece. No detail has been left to chance: from the extra thick piping that runs across the top of the piece to the special two part cushion. However, the most characteristic element of Talo is in its feet that thrust up under the fabric, like the roots of a mangrove tree just visible above ground level as they form the trunk. The feet are made of oak and can be ordered in a wide range of natural stains or vibrant colours like green or mango. Sebastian has also designed a stylish cushion as an accessory to this, or other Sancal products. Talo can be upholstered in fabric, synthetic or natural leather. The covers are fixed.

ISOPLUS 2.1
|DOORTAL insulated doors are universal and the ideal solution for all buildings: public places, industrial premises, offices, housing etc. Their thermal performance and high resistance to weather will provide comfort in all seasons. The “10 year warranty” label is a proof of DOORTAL’s commitment to quality. The strength of our doors comes from the steel box section frame, 1.5 or 2 mm steel on the leaf and steel or stainless steel ball bearing hinges. In the context of sustainable development and environment awareness, the INSUPLUS Doortal insulated doors score high ratings: Ud value of 2.1 W/m².K for the INSUPLUS 2.1 door set, 1.5 W/m².K for the INSUPLUS 1.5 door set and 1.2 W/m².K for the INSUPLUS 1.2 door set. The lower the figure, the higher the performance (which means the lower the energy loss). These ratings have been achieved by carefully selected insulated materials to create thermal breaks. INSUPLUS door sets can be equipped with a whole range of door furniture: single or 3 point locks, panic bars, door closers or 90° door opening limiters, electric latches or locks, circular or rectangular vision panels or overpanels etc. To save time on site, DOORTAL uses the “Chronofix” concept which consists of fitting all the furniture in our factory. The installer receives his custom size or standard size door set 100% ready-to-fix. The INSUPLUS door sets are made of galvanized steel, coated in any RAL or BS colour. They are also available in stainless steel.

Frame, planter 130l
|Few designers create containers as artfully as the Stockholm-based duo Broberg & Ridderstråle, whose designs include cube and rectilinear planters. This set of planters is characterised by sides that taper inwards and upwards from the base, meeting the upper rim at an inner point, making the upper part of the frame visible while concealing the lower half. By making the frame visible, it creates a wide rim and provides handles. The planters have an eye-catching trompe l’oeil effect that may trick the eye, but not the hand. C.01 : Lam. Safety - Window - C2C Stratobel
|Developed with the sole purpose of keeping people safe, Stratobel is our extended range of laminated glass which looks identical to normal glass, but is strong enough to provide protection from injury, falls and break-ins and vandalism. Transparent protection is provided by a polyvinyl butyral (PVB) interlayer, a plastic material placed between two sheets of glass. Subjected to many forms of impact and tests, varying thicknesses of glass and configurations determine the level of safety. By applying layers of specific PVB, specific tinted float and glass coatings, functionality can be added on top of the safety components. The three main functions of this range are: Protection from injury – tested and certified in compliance with EN 12600(Class: 1B1 - 2B2) If this glass breaks, it shatters into blunt fragments which stick to the PVB rather than sharp pieces. For bus shelters, doors, windows, balconies, skylights and any overhead glazing, this glass, which includes two sheets of glass and at least one PVB interlayer, reduces the risk of injury due to accidental impact. Protection from falls - tested and certified in compliance with EN 12600 (Class: 1B1) Whenever there is a risk of falling through glass, for example, ceiling-to-floor windows, balustrades and banisters, this glass, which includes two sheets of glass and at least two PVB interlayers, prevents falls as the glass stays together – even when accidentally broken. Protection against break-ins and vandalism - tested and certified in compliance with EN 356. (Class: P1A-P5A) Windows are a potential entry point for burglars, but this glass, which includes two sheets of glass and at least two PVB interlayers, resists forced entry threats and intrusion. Tested with a metal ball drop, this method evaluates the performance with three levels of impact from small-scale manual attacks to intentional break-ins.

K2 Chair
|If you recognize something about the K2 Chair it might be due to the fact that you at some point during your school years sat in Friis & Moltkes model 6000 and struggled with words like proportionality and perfectum participium. Because the K2 Chair is a refinement of the classic school chair model 6000 which Friis & Moltke designed back in the 60’s. Back then the chair sold more than 500.000 copies. The K2 Chair can very well be used in both the class room and the conference room. Furthermore the chair is highly stackable since 50 chairs can be stacked in just 1 metre. If you look closely you’ll notice that the base of the K2 Chair consists of just one pieces of 12 mm steel rod that is brought all the way around. This method creates very round edges that soften the sharp and geometric look. The base is made out of powdercoated steel rod whereas the seat comes in blackstained ash, in oak or with upholstery in various colours.

LIGHTCHUTE Plastic Rubble Chute - With top hopper
|The RUBI-KANGURO "LIGHTCHUTE" plastic chute with top hopper should always be used as the first segment of the "LIGHTCHUTE" plastic rubble chute column. The hopper of this "LIGHTCHUTE" rubble chute section is specially designed for easy loading of construction rubble by wheelbarrow, bucket or basket, or shovel. The RUBI-KANGURO "LIGHTCHUTE" plastic chute with top hopper can be used as intermediate or side hopper. It is ideal for facilitating a debris removal hopper at any point in the plastic chute column, and allowing construction professionals to access the plastic chute column from a balcony, a window or between intermediate floors. RUBI-KANGURO "LIGHTCHUTE" plastic rubble chutes are a very economical and safe option for transferring construction waste from high floors to containers at street level, and are particularly suitable for use in urban environments owing to their large dust and noise reduction capacities. The ease of use of RUBI-KANGURO "LIGHTCHUTE" plastic rubble chutes means that they are recommended for any construction work over several floors. Made of high density polyethylene, and with walls of 6 mm thickness, RUBI-KANGURO "LIGHTCHUTE" plastic rubble chutes offer excellent impact resistance, due to their flexibility, and great durability. Owing to the ribbing inside RUBI-KANGURO rubble chutes, friction with the rubble is minimised and wear of the chute cone is reduced, thus extending the product’s lifespan. The chains of all the "LIGHTCHUTE" rubble chute models are extra-reinforced, with links of 6 mm in diameter, and they comply with the DIN 763 standard. Because they are stackable, "LIGHTCHUTE" plastic chutes allow users to save space in storage and are easy to transport.

Loudspeaker - VECTOR-CD896
|Crestron® Vector™ Performance Loudspeakers provide a professional sound reinforcement speaker solution for large indoor spaces and venues. Featuring a revolutionary coaxial transducer design complemented by advanced Avia™ digital signal processing, Vector loudspeakers deliver exceptional intelligibility and natural sound quality for speech reinforcement, foreground music, and multimedia presentation applications. Compact, aesthetically-pleasing enclosures afford remarkable performance in less space. A choice of sizes and coverage patterns is offered to address the varying applications and room geometries found in auditoriums, theaters, lecture halls, houses of worship, convention centers, hotel ballrooms, sports facilities, night clubs, and public spaces. The Vector CD896 is a very compact speaker enclosure loaded with one 2-way coaxial transducer plus a second dedicated low-frequency transducer. The coaxial transducer is composed of an 8” (203 mm) LF driver and a 90° x 60° HF horn with 1.7” (43 mm) diaphragm compression driver. The second LF transducer is another 8” driver. Advanced engineering and construction of the complete speaker achieves a space-efficient design with high output capability and consistent pattern control. Its integrated coaxial transducer aligns the low-frequency and high-frequency elements to produce precise transient response and uniform directionality across the entire frequency range. The two 8” LF drivers work together to achieve an increase in overall output and improved mid-bass impact. The coaxial transducer can be rotated in 45° increments to tailor high-frequency coverage to the space and allow for horizontal or vertical orientation of the enclosure. Advanced Coaxial Transducer The LF/HF transducer in the Vector CD896 represents a revolutionary advancement in coaxial speaker design. Its high-frequency horn features a large 1.7 inch (43 mm) titanium diaphragm compression driver, which operates at frequencies lower than typical, allowing the high-frequency horn to smooth the response of the low frequency section to reduce shadowing of the woofer by the horn. The woofer’s large radiating surface works in conjunction with the high-frequency horn to improve directional control at the lower end of the horn’s frequency range resulting in better pattern control. The large diaphragm also allows the compression driver to produce higher sound pressure levels without distortion to deliver incredibly clear and dynamic sound quality for both speech and program material. The complete coaxial transducer assembly employs a single neodymium magnet with dual-gap geometry, which minimizes the spacing between the compression driver and woofer voice coils. This integrated approach virtually eliminates the delay between the two drivers, allowing a passive crossover to be used to seamlessly blend the horn and woofer into a single point source. The reduced demand on the internal crossover helps to maximize efficiency and damping, and the use of a single neodymium magnet reduces the speaker’s weight, size, and cost. Dual Low-Frequency Drivers The Vector CD896 employs two mutually-coupled 8” LF transducers to achieve its high efficiency and impactful performance in a relatively small enclosure. Avia™ Digital Signal Processing Every aspect of the Vector CD896 is designed to take advantage of the signal refining abilities of a Crestron Avia DSP. Vector loudspeakers and Avia processing work synergistically to produce a superior speaker system tuned for accurate, uncolored reproduction of voice and program signals. Precision signal processing is employed to accomplish what can’t be done physically, strategically eliminating harsh-sounding resonances caused by horn reflections while retaining every nuance of the original signal. Further refinements are employed to maximize transient response and deliver smooth bandwidth performance both within and beyond the speaker’s nominal coverage pattern. The result is an extremely natural sounding speaker system with superior pattern control, improved intelligibility, reduced listener fatigue, and higher gain before feedback. Versatile Installation The Vector CD896 is particularly effective in applications where compact dimensions and targeted pattern control are desirable. Such applications include front fill, delay fill, under-balcony, small front of house, and foreground music, especially when mated with a subwoofer. Its clean appearance facilitates acceptance by architects and interior designers, and its 25° beveled rear corners allow it to be mounted close to walls or ceilings without obstructing sight lines. Concealed M6 mounting points are included to accommodate either an optional yoke bracket or forged shoulder eyebolts (each sold separately).

The coaxial transducer can be rotated in 45° increments to tailor high-frequency coverage to the space and allow for horizontal or vertical orientation of the enclosure. Advanced Coaxial Transducer The LF/HF transducer in the Vector CD1265 represents a revolutionary advancement in coaxial speaker design. Its high-frequency horn features a large 3 inch (76 mm) titanium diaphragm compression driver, which operates at frequencies lower than typical, allowing the high-frequency horn to smooth the response of the low frequency section to reduce shadowing of the woofer by the horn. The woofer’s large radiating surface works in conjunction with the high-frequency horn to improve directional control at the lower end of the horn’s frequency range resulting in better pattern control throughout the critical voice band. Dual Low-Frequency Drivers The Vector CD1265 employs an innovative and unconventional bi-amplified 3-way configuration using dual 12” LF transducers. Relative to the coaxial transducer, the dedicated LF transducer features increased excursion capability below 100 Hz. The frequency range of both drivers overlaps at precise levels to achieve a flat summed response, producing a higher overall output level compared to a more traditional LF/MF/HF 3-way system. The use of dual LF transducers also provides the benefit of extending usable LF pattern control by over an octave, reducing acoustic reflections in the room for better clarity and “projection.” Avia™ Digital Signal Processing Every aspect of the Vector CD1265 is designed to take advantage of the signal refining abilities of a Crestron Avia DSP. Two channels of processing are employed to deliver an optimized signal to each transducer. Versatile Installation The Vector CD1265 is particularly effective in systems where targeted pattern control is desirable, including front of house, delay fill, and foreground music applications. Its clean appearance and familiar format facilitate acceptance by architects and interior designers, and the 40° trapezoidal angle allows it to be mounted near walls or ceilings without obstructing sight lines. Concealed M10 mounting points are included to accommodate either an optional yoke bracket or forged shoulder eyebolts (each sold separately).

Dual-Mode Wireless To deliver the ultimate in wireless touch screen performance and functionality, the TST-902 employs a combination of Crestron Extended Range 2.4 GHz RF (ER) and Wi-Fi® wireless technologies. Extended Range RF (Required) — Primary functionality is supported via Crestron ER (Extended Range) wireless communications, providing seamless touch screen control with true feedback. A single ER gateway [4] enables ultra dependable wireless performance at a range of up to 200 feet (60 m) indoors.[5] Roaming capability allows for even greater coverage using up to eight ER gateways. Wi-Fi (Optional) — While the TST-902 can be operated using only ER wireless, advanced wireless capabilities such as streaming video, voice recognition, web browsing, and dynamic graphics can only be supported using both ER and Wi-Fi together (dual-mode). Crestron enhanced Wi-Fi wireless performance achieves a remarkable 50 feet (15 m) omnidirectional coverage indoors.[5] For Wi-Fi networks with multiple access points, the TST-902 supports the ability to hand off communication from one access point to another if the active connection is lost.[6] The choice of 802.11 b, g, and n protocols affords reliable, high-speed wireless performance in virtually any RF environment. For optimal Wi-Fi performance, Crestron offers the CEN-WAP-1500 High Power Dual-Band Wireless Access Point [4]. IMPORTANT: EVERY INSTALLATION OF THE TST-902 REQUIRES A CRESTRON ER WIRELESS GATEWAY TO ENABLE ESSENTIAL WIRELESS CAPABILITY. THE TST-902 WILL NOT WORK WITH WI-FI ALONE.[7] Instant-Waking® To ensure the most transparent user experience possible, the TST-902 has been engineered to wake instantly upon touching the touch screen. Commands are sent immediately — just like an IR remote but with none of IR’s limitations. So spontaneous actions like muting the audio, pausing the video, or changing the channel can be executed on-the-fly without any waiting. Extended Battery Life The TST-902 features a large-capacity, user-replaceable Li-Ion battery pack to enable up to 9 hours of continuous operation and several days of typical use between charges. Intelligent power management and Lithium Ion battery technology afford a perfect balance of long battery life, light weight, and compact size. Table Dock Charger The TST-902 includes a stylish table dock for charging its internal battery while simultaneously allowing it to be used as a stationary tabletop touch screen. The table dock holds the TST-902 firmly at a fixed upright angle while docked, and allows it to be simply lifted off at any time for portable use. Its sleek appearance achieves a look befitting the most contemporary boardroom or luxury living room.[1] Wall Dock Option Available separately, the TST-902-DSW provides a flush mount, in-wall docking solution, allowing the TST-902 to be used as a stationary wall mount touch screen with the ability to go wireless at any time. Notes: 1. The TST-902 ships with (1) TST-902-DS Table Dock included. Additional table docks, or the TST-902-DSW wall dock, may be ordered separately. Refer to the TST-902-DS and TST-902-DSW spec sheets for additional information. 2. Voice recognition, web browsing, weather information, and certain other functions require an Internet connection via Wi-Fi. 3. Voice recognition, streaming video, web browsing, and dynamic graphics capabilities require dual-mode wireless (ER + Wi-Fi). 4. Item(s) sold separately. 5. Wireless range subject to site-specific conditions. 6. True roaming is supported for ER wireless communication only, affording uninterrupted wireless performance for primary touch screen functions. Wi-Fi “handoff” capability enables automatic handoff amongst up to four pre-designated Wi-Fi wireless access points, wherein the last successful Wi-Fi connection is maintained indefinitely until that connection is lost, at which point communication is handed off to the next nearest access point. A very brief interruption to wireless Ethernet communication may occur during the handoff. Primary ER wireless communication is unaffected by the Wi-Fi handoff process. 7. ER (Extended Range) RF wireless communication supports basic wireless touch screen functionality, and is required for all applications. For advanced functionality including streaming video, voice recognition, web browsing, and dynamic graphics, Wi-Fi wireless communication is also required (dual-mode). The TST-902 will not work with Wi-Fi alone.

infiNET EX® Thermostat - CHV-TSTATEX
|<p>The CHV-TSTATEX is a wireless thermostat featuring infiNET EX® technology. The CHV-TSTATEX installs just like a conventional thermostat because no extra wires are needed to connect to the control system. Although functional as a standalone thermostat, the CHV-TSTATEX delivers enhanced functionality as part of a complete Crestron® automation system. Integrating HVAC with a Crestron system can help lower energy bills and increase user friendliness.</p> <p>The CHV-TSTATEX is designed for one- or two-stage heating and one- or two-stage cooling control of baseboard, forced air, heat pump[1], and dual-fuel heat pump[1] HVAC systems. The large backlit LCD display provides a clear view of temperature, set point, system mode, fan mode, system status, and setup functions. Climate control features include separate heating and cooling set points, and adjustable anticipators to prevent overshooting the desired temperature. Continuous fan operation can be selected when needed for increased circulation.</p> <p>Fan Coil Unit Support<br>The CHV-TSTATEX-FCU model of the infiNET EX thermostat provides the functionality of controlling fan coil units[2]. Aesthetically identical to the base model, the CHV-TSTATEX-FCU has custom firmware, display programming and terminal labels designed for three-speed fan applications. The CHV-TSTATEX-FCU supports on/off control of the valves and the fan in four-pipe fan coil applications, eliminating the need for an additional device dedicated to controlling the fan coil unit itself. </p> <p>infiNET EX Communications<br>Ultra-reliable infiNET EX wireless technology provides steadfast two-way RF communications throughout a residential or commercial structure without the need for physical control wiring. Employing a 2.4 GHz mesh network topology, each infiNET EX device functions as an expander, passing command signals through to every other infiNET EX device within range (approximately 150 feet or 46 meters indoors), ensuring that every command reaches its intended destination without disruption[3].</p> <p>The CHV-TSTATEX communicates with a Crestron control system via an infiNET EX Wireless Gateway (model CEN-RFGW-EX, DIN-AP3MEX, or MC3[4]). Up to 100 infiNET EX devices may coexist on a single wireless network, and every non-battery-powered device that is added to the network effectively increases the range and stability of the entire network by providing multiple redundant signal paths[3]. Built-in Dynamic Frequency Allocation continuously monitors RF conditions, automatically selecting the clearest channel to prevent interference from neighboring networks, cordless phones, and microwaves. </p> <p>Automation System Integration<br>The wireless connection to the control system allows the functions of the CHV-TSTATEX to be controlled from touch screens, keypads, wireless remotes, computers, or even a mobile device. It supports unlimited flexibility for remote control, scheduling, and integration with other devices and systems. In the event that communication with the control system is disrupted for any reason, the CHV-TSTATEX will remain operable to control the HVAC system.</p> <p>Easy Installation<br>Because no control wires are required, the CHV-TSTATEX can be installed just like any conventional thermostat. To simplify installation, physical switches are provided for the most critical configuration options, including heat/cool type, heat pump behavior, power settings, number of heating/cooling stages, and fan options. These settings allow HVAC contractors to install and test the thermostats prior to the appearance of a Crestron system integrator. </p> <p>Remote Sensors<br>Optional remote temperature sensors can be connected to the CHV-TSTATEX for enhanced flexibility and optimized performance. Climate can be regulated according to an average of multiple sensors, or the built-in sensors can be disabled entirely to allow the CHV-TSTATEX to be installed out of view. For heat pump-type systems, outdoor temperature can be monitored to optimize system performance. Compatible sensors include the CHV-RTS and the CHV-RSS.</p> <p>Features<br>Summary Of Features </p> <p>Wall mount heat/cool thermostat for baseboard, forced air, and heat pump[1] HVAC systems<br>Crestron system integration via infiNET EX® wireless network<br>Saves on energy costs with advanced programming abilities <br>Supports two remote temperature sensors<br>Fail-safe mode allows operation in event of control system failure<br>Backlit LCD display<br>Fan coil unit control[2] (CHV-TSTATEX-FCU model only)<br>Available in white, black, or almond finish</p> <p>Notes: <br>1. Heat pump systems require an outdoor temperature sensor; contact Crestron for additional design assistance.<br>2. Four-pipe fan coil units are supported.<br>3. Any infiNET EX device that provides expander functionality will effectively extend the range of the wireless network beyond the initial range of the gateway. Battery-powered infiNET EX devices do not provide expander functionality. To achieve expander functionality, the CHV-TSTATEX must be connected to a 24-Volt power source. Wireless networks composed predominantly of battery-powered devices may need additional infiNET EX expanders, such as the CLW-EXPEX or GLA-EXPEX (sold separately), or other non-battery-powered infiNET EX devices to ensure proper functionality of the network and battery life for the devices. Refer to the Best Practices for Installation and Setup of Crestron RF Products, Doc. #6689 for complete system design guidelines, or contact Crestron True Blue Support for further assistance.<br>4. Energy Monitoring Power Conditioner & Controller 300 - PC-300
|<p>The PC-300 is a professional grade, rack-mountable power conditioner and controller designed to provide 120 Volt AC power distribution, switching, surge protection, noise filtering, and energy monitoring for Crestron® control systems, AV systems, computers, and other equipment. Eight individually-switched outlets are provided on the rear panel, plus a single unswitched convenience outlet is provided on the front. All nine outlets are protected, filtered, and monitored. The switched outlets are each turn-on delay-adjustable when controlled from the front panel power switch. The switched outlets are also individually controllable via a control system to enable independent switching of devices, on/off power sequencing, load-shedding, and other custom power control functionality.[1]</p><p>Built-in RMS voltage and current monitoring enables logging and reporting of line voltage fluctuations at the input, as well as current, power, and energy usage at each outlet. An external temperature sensor is included to keep tabs on heat conditions within the equipment rack or room. Network connectivity allows for setup and operation using a web browser, with extensive custom control and monitoring capabilities enabled through integration with a Crestron control system, the MyCrestron.com residential monitoring service, the Crestron Fusion® Cloud enterprise management service, or an SNMP client.[1,2] Setup and operation can also be performed through the LCD front panel.</p><p> </p><strong>Power Conditioning<br></strong>A quality power conditioner is an essential component of any professional system to prevent sudden equipment failure due to lightning and electrical disturbances, to prolong the lifespan of that equipment, and to maximize overall system performance during everyday operation. The PC-300 includes the following power conditioning features:<br><ul><li><strong>Surge Protection</strong> &mdash; Provides protection against surges and spikes in the AC power line caused by lightning and other electrical disturbances</li><li><strong>Under/Over Voltage Cutoff</strong> &mdash; Shuts off power to the rear panel outlets if the line voltage strays beyond the normal operating range, which is adjustable on the PC-300</li><li><strong>Thermal Breaker</strong> &mdash; Disrupts power to all outlets in case of an overload condition</li><li><strong>EMI/RFI Noise Filtering</strong> &mdash; Prevents electromagnetic and radio frequency interference that can negatively impact sound and video quality</li><li><strong>Wiring Fault Detection</strong> &mdash; Detects faulty wiring of the incoming AC power line and shuts off power to the rear panel outlets until the fault is corrected [3]</li></ul> <p><strong>Eight-Stage Adjustable Turn-On Delay</strong><br>When operated by its front panel power switch, the PC-300 allows each of its rear panel outlets to turn on in any order according to the delay time set for each outlet. Each outlet is individually adjustable to provide up to 10 seconds of delay before turning on, ensuring that the connected equipment gets powered up in proper order with sufficient time for each piece to stabilize. This helps to prevent dangerous transients that can damage delicate components and potentially trip the main circuit breaker. It can also help to prevent audible pops and thumps through connected audio equipment at power-up. Delayed turn-on is initiated by turning on the front panel power switch, or by applying power to the main line input following a power outage or through an externally switched circuit.<br><br></p><p><strong>Eight Remote-Controllable Switched Outlets</strong><br>Any of the PC-300’s eight rear panel outlets can be turned on or off individually through the front panel LCD screen or over the network using a web browser or control system. This energy-saving feature allows select components to be powered down when not needed. Through integration with a control system, custom functionality can be programmed to enable control from a touch screen, keypad, remote, or mobile device. Sequential power-up and power-down functionality can be enabled through programming of the control system, with select outlets designated as always on. For systems employing a backup generator or UPS, load-shedding can be performed to shut down unnecessary components during a power outage.[1]</p><p> </p><strong>Energy Monitoring</strong><br>By sensing the incoming line voltage and individual device loads, the PC-300 facilitates a host of solutions for monitoring, automating, and troubleshooting a system.<br><ul><li>Voltage monitoring allows fluctuations in the power line to be tracked and logged, helping to identify and document problems with the power utility or building wiring.</li><li>Energy monitoring per outlet provides the real power consumption (watts), current draw (amps), and energy usage (watt-hours) for each connected device.</li><li>Allows power-hungry equipment to be identified and replaced with more efficient equipment.</li><li>High inrush current devices can be identified to assist in optimizing the configuration of power sequencing schemes.</li><li>Overall energy usage can be tracked and logged to identify trends and reform energy-wasting behaviors.</li><li>Individual device usage can be tracked to inform the scheduling of maintenance and future purchasing decisions.</li><li>The power state of an IR controlled device can often be determined by sensing its AC current draw, ensuring it’s on when it should be on.</li><li>An alert notification can be sent if there’s a sudden or abnormal drop in current draw, potentially indicating a device has been shut off improperly or disconnected due to theft (effective only when outlets are switched on).</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Ambient Temperature Sensing</strong><br>The PC-300 offers a complete equipment protection solution by monitoring the ambient temperature within the equipment cabinet or room to prevent overheating. The included temperature sensor connects to the rear of the PC-300 and features a choice of magnetic or adhesive mounting for easy placement within a typical equipment rack enclosure. The over-temperature cutoff threshold can be set to shut down power to the system if conditions exceed a safe operating temperature. Through a control system, the temperature measurement can be utilized to regulate the operation of cooling fans or air-conditioning equipment to keep equipment running cool.</p> <p><strong>Ping Monitoring</strong><br>No matter how well a system is designed and programmed, even the finest control system or computer has the potential to lock up and stop responding once in a while. The PC-300 can be configured to detect an unresponsive device by sending it a ping command at regular intervals. If the ping request is not returned after four tries, the outlet feeding the monitored device cycles off and on to reboot the device, quickly restoring normal operation without any human intervention.</p> <p><strong>Built-In Logging</strong><br>Events such as power surges, over/under voltage conditions, over-temperature conditions, ping failures, outlet switching activity, and sudden changes in current draw (indicative of a device being improperly shut off or disconnected) can all be logged as they occur to document the time and cause of problems and to track device usage. All sensor readings are logged at a configurable interval as short as five seconds providing a minimum of one week’s worth of data. Logs can be retrieved periodically to record a detailed history of events and energy usage over time.</p> <strong>UL® 1449 Certified</strong><br>The PC-300 has been tested and certified by UL as compliant with the UL 1449 safety and performance standard for surge protective devices (SPD).<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong>Key Features</strong><br><ul><li>Rack-mountable power conditioner and controller</li><li>Eight individual-switched rear panel outlets</li><li>Adjustable turn-on delay and local/remote switching per outlet</li><li>One unswitched front panel outlet</li><li>Built-in current sensing and energy monitoring per outlet</li><li>Line voltage monitoring</li><li>Professional grade surge protection</li><li>UL® 1449 Type 3 Listed</li><li>Thermal breaker overload protection</li><li>Adjustable over-voltage and under-voltage cutoff</li><li>EMI and RFI noise filtering</li><li>Wiring fault detection [3]</li><li>Ambient temperature sensing and over-temperature cutoff</li><li>Ping monitoring (device lockup detection and reboot)</li><li>Built-in energy usage and event logging</li><li>Front panel main power switch, status indicators, and color LCD</li><li>Easy setup and operation via front panel or web browser</li><li>Crestron® control system integration via Ethernet or Cresnet®</li><li>Remote management via MyCrestron.com, Crestron Fusion® Cloud, or SNMP [2]</li><li>Single-space 19 inch rack-mountable</li><li>Rated 15 Amps at 120 Volts AC</li><li>Limited Lifetime Product Warranty</li><li>Limited 5 Year Connected Equipment Protection Warranty</li></ul> <p>1. Enabling PoDM and PoE power sourcing requires an external power supply, model PW-4830DUS or DM-PSU-3X8-RPS, sold separately. Due to the inherent power loss that occurs over CATx cable, a maximum of 25.5 Watts is delivered at each PoDM+ or HDBaseT PoE+ powered device. Be aware that the CONTROL SUBNET port is limited to regular PoE (Class 0-3), which delivers a maximum of 12.95 Watts to the powered device. Any wiring that is connected to a PoDM or PoE PSE port is for intra-building use only and should not be connected to a line that runs outside of the building in which the PSE is located.<br>9. Manages the routing of USB HID signals between peripheral DM devices that are equipped with USB HID ports. The USB ports onboard the DMPS3-4K-350-C are not usable for USB signal routing. Also programmable to manage the routing of USB signals between Crestron USB over Ethernet Extender modules (USB-EXT-DM, sold separately). Refer to the USB-EXT-DM spec sheet for more information.<br>10. License required. The DMPS3-4K-350-C supports a maximum of 500 BACnet objects when dedicated for BACnet use only. Actual capabilities are contingent upon the overall program size and complexity.</p>

MB-SR50N EFEKT Semi-structural façade
|<p>The MB-SR50N EFEKT system is used for the construction of lightweight curtain walls of a hanging and filling type as well as roofs, skylights and other spatial constructions. Its supporting structure is based on a modern and tried-and-tested mullion and transom aluminium system MB-SR50N, which provides a wide range of profiles to choose from and the possibility of selecting sections so that the surface of mullions and transoms is flush with the internal side of façade, and thus its aesthetic joint with development elements inside the building is ensured. It also ensures compatibility with other constructions based on the wide range of products offered by Aluprof SA.</p> <p>MB-SR50N EFEKT is a façade that provides a uniform external appearance of a smooth glass wall divided by the structure of vertical and horizontal lines of 2 cm, thanks to the use of a special system for fixing panes to mullions and transoms. The gaps between glass fields of the façade are filled with a special silicon binder to ensure high tightness of the construction and enhance its insulation properties. As compared to the MB-SR50 EFEKT façade construction, which has already been popular on the market, the new solution has a number of new possibilities, in terms of technology as well as aesthetics.</p> <p>One of the basic advantages of the MB-SR50N EFEKT façade is the rich possibilities of glazing: the wide range of infills available in the catalogue includes one- or two-chamber glass, as well as non-transparent panels based on complex glass. The real novelty, and undoubtedly the hit of this type of façades, is the possibility of using glass units with a laminated pane. The precisely developed infill mounting system allows the flexible and economic adjustment to the technical requirements of a specific project – it is diverse depending on glass weight and includes solutions that enable&nbsp; loads to be transferred from panes to profiles in such a manner that a load capacity of up to 450 kg can be obtained. We have two standard pane mounting variants at our disposal: with the use of continuous or point frame, which allows the manufacturing process and price to be optimised. Another big advantage of the system is the fact that it has recommendations from three world leading suppliers of constructional and weather-resistant silicones: Dow Corning, Sica and Tremco-Ilbruck, which not only enhance the prestige of this solution, but also ensure and guarantee the resistance and tightness of the construction, as well as easy access to technologies for glazing companies. In this system, the possibility of using silicon in different colours is also worthy of attention, as it significantly widens the spectrum for the creation of façade aesthetics.</p> <p>Façades made in the MB-SR50N EFEKT system have excellent utility parameters. Their use allows&nbsp; not only the desired façade aesthetics to be obtained, but also very high thermal insulating power, which is, due to a strong, worldwide trend oriented at the limitation of the energy consumption of buildings, one of the main criteria for assessment of contemporary curtain walls.</p>
