Element Orientation_Length Check
Steve Nortcliffe | 1634035564Angle and length checking label with defineable accuracy . Use to audit walls, beams, columns and objects to check if the orientation and length is out by fractional amounts. This was designed to serve as a tool to check walls, beams, columns, and object placement, rotation and lengths. The best way to use it is to create an audit layer and set the label to the audit layer, modify the accuracy properties to suit your needs (If you want to make sure element lengths are to the nearest 1mm set the accuracy property to 1mm - if you want to check if the angle of the placed element is orthogonal set the angle accuracy to 90 ,select the elements to be checked either by selecting the relevant tool and Ctrl A or just selecting then Ctrl Shift L to label all. It will give an instant indication of all elements that may require attention by highlighting the label elements in red. It is very useful when converting design drawings to construction drawings.

|Double-shell brickwork – at the inside with Ytong and at the outside with Silka: If the matter is an outer shell with heavy-duty weatherproofing, you traditionally stick to a well approved double-shell brickwork. The outer shell – the Silka faced brickwork – meets structural-physical demands as well as high mechanical requirements. Due to the facade’s persistence and low amount of maintenance, those double-shell brickworks pay off fine in the long run. Between the bearing inner Ytong-shell and the weather-resistant outer Silka-shell, there’s room for additional functional layers.

|Sound pollution can be a problem in any environment. Offering high-level acoustic insulation, Stratophone has the same safety protection as Stratobel, but also absorbs sound and resists noise. This is thanks to a special acoustic PVB layer that acts as a barrier from noise passing through a glazing, for example between a noisy external environment and a quiet room inside a building. The higher the acoustic insulation of the glazing, the higher the comfort level which positively impacts health and well-being. Depending on the requirement of combined safety and enhanced acoustic insulation, different thicknesses of glass and the number of PVB interlayers, this fully transparent-looking glass can be used in facades and interior design projects. A PVB White is available which looks like a sand-blasted or etched glass which can be used as is to provide privacy.

|High thermo-acoustic performance structural floor or roof with Jendy JOSS® system with metal frames, upper covering OSB panels and insulation in rock wool, for a total thickness of 237mm. The structure consists of a frame of galvanized steel, 1.5 mm thick section 50-200-50mm places to 400mm wheelbase; thickness, pitch and height of the profiles as resulting from specific structural calculations. The profiles are secured with vertical warping brackets or inserted within the 40-200-40mm section guides. The top surface of the floor will be covered with a double layer of OSB 3 sheets, normate for static functions and the bracing of the horizontal plane, 12mm thick, screwed to the metal with screws VT4.2*32 galvanized and drilling, crossed and with staggered joints cutlery. The floor lower side will instead be coated with a plasterboard plate of 13mm thickness and 2800-3000x1200mm size screwed to the steel structure with suitable self-threading screws fosfate VT3.5*25. The plasterboard will be finished as a rule with plastering of gypsum-based joint with interposed retina or microperforated tape, plastering of the head of the screws, angles, etc ... In the gap will be inserted one of high density rock wool of 160mm thick 70 kg/m³ with acoustic insulation function. In case of roof will be placed on the upper side a further insulating layer to achieve the desired thermal values and suitable waterproofing of the surface; if it’s an intermediate floor it must be realized the screed plant, possibly dry, with traditional subflooring pad and subsequent paving as usual. |The photocatalytic external walls made with i.active cements get, thanks to photocatalysis, theirs depolluting (decontamination) and self-cleaning performance. Depolluting performance consist on converting various organics pollutants (VOCs) and inorganic (NOx, SOx and others) to water soluble inert substances, contributing to cities sustainability, fighting against pollution(contamination). That solubility allows that rain or cleaning operations remove those substances of the surface, maintaining the aesthetic quality of the façade for a longer time with less maintenance necessities, this is what we consider self-cleaning performance of the envelope. Using a photocatalytic concrete with i.active cement, you are not only outfitting the external walls with these performance, you are also ensuring the durability of them as the photocatalizer of titanium dioxide, that promotes photocatalyisis, is on mass in the element. So, erosion due to natural phenomena or anthropogenic actions do not reduce the durability of these performances because under the disappeared layer there is another one with the same quantity of photocatalizer.
