Riff is a lightweight, durable chair offering good seating comfort. The back and seat are made of moulded wood. The seat is available with or without upholstery. Riff is now also available with black, white, red, green or blue laminate as an alternative to the wood finishes (beech, birch and oak). The basic idea behind Sandö was to create a chair with simple, harmonious and self-evident shapes, constructed in accordance with furniture-making criteria. Boo is a stackable chair with a seat shell of formfelt, fabric or leather laminated on the inside. Boo is suitable for a variety of interiors, for example conference rooms, meeting-rooms, canteens and libraries. Because of the special characteristics of the formfelt, the seat of Boo is sound absorbing. The chair is lightweight thanks to the choice of material and construction. In the creation of Boo, Stefan Borselius has delved deep into the process of optimising a comfortable seating shell for different kinds of bodies. Unusually comfortable and ergonomic, it takes weight of the pelvic bones and supports the small of the back. In 2008 Boo O48 was awarded with the Swedish design award, Design S. Boo is also eco-labelled with the Nordic Swan.

When Jonas Lindvall created Harrow it was in homage to the tradition of craftsmanship and thus to Stolab. Harrow has a broad backrest made of conical sections that become narrower towards the back legs. This gives Harrow a finished and neat appearance. The covered seat has moulded padding for comfortable sitting. One unique detail in Harrow is the vertical direction of the chair’s wood fibres. This creates a feeling of visual continuity throughout the chair.

After years of experimenting with the thin seat shells in laminated Formfelt, in 2009 Stefan Borselius gave shape to a new piece of furniture that seems totally skinless. An “alien” called Oppo. Oppo is slang and means friend or “buddy”.

Oxford is a genuine piece of wooden furniture where the designer wants to present the structure itself through sophisticated and clear details. Oxford has a marked perspective that also makes it exciting to look at. But perhaps it’s just its sitting comfort that will make you fall in love with it. The cushioned, upholstered seats are available in any of our standard fabrics or in any material that you send us. The material is removable on both the seat and back cushions. Supreme sitting comfort is achieved by the classic basic construction combined with comfortable seat and back cushions fi lled with down. The seat cushion also has a core of highly elastic cold foam to further increase the comfort. The chair Bergen is designed by Hallgeir Homstvedt. Bergen was originally developed for a project to a university in Bergen, Norway. After further development the chair is now launched in our collection with its inspiring expression. In a certain light you can, by reading the shadow, imagine where Homstvedt found his inspiration - the beautiful windows of the university. “I designed this chair for the competition which I won for the furnishing of the newly renovated auditorium in the Bergen University, originally built in 1894. The imposing window valves in the room were important as inspiration. The shapes are reflected in the square back and the circular seat. The chair’s character lies in the meeting between these two surfaces, giving the impression of floating in the air, with only a small concealed point of attachment. This gives the chair a minimalistic and slender character, with good stacking capacity. Hans Brattrud created Scandia Prince in1960, as the latest addition to the Scandia range. Hence the name: according to the designer himself Scandia Prince is the crowning glory of the series.
