The basic idea behind Sandö was to create a chair with simple, harmonious and self-evident shapes, constructed in accordance with furniture-making criteria. A chair that is resilient and well-proportioned without being fussy, thus making it suitable for a number of environments. A chair that is comfortable to sit on and attractive to look at. Sandö has distinct lines, but still feels smooth to the touch as all edges are rounded in a special way.
